How water helped me in my medical conditions – An story behind the birth of Aquaflit

An story behind the birth of Aquaflit - This was the catalyst for the creation of Aquaflit
Five years ago, I was broken — not emotionally, but physically.
I lived on antacids. My bag had a permanent supply — omeprazole, domperidone, painkillers for the migraines that came like clockwork every evening without fail. I was running a business, raising two kids, and surviving on coffee, stress, and takeout. My stomach was a warzone — constant acidity, heartburn that kept me awake at night, bloating that made me look so bad. I was suffering from chronic gastritis, chronic acidity, heartburn, migrane, chronic fatigue and there was no way out from all these despite many years of medications and changing of hospitals and doctors, I called it my life.
And then, one day, my brother-in-law, Bhargav from Rajkot — who’s been in the medical field — called me. After hearing about my constant stomach issues and migraines. he said, plain and simple, “Jiju, aap apna pani badaliye, aapko result milega." He advised me to change my water, but honestly, I didn’t listen. It was just another suggestion in a long list of things doctors had said — “Drink more water,” “Avoid spicy food,” “Reduce stress.” I nodded, smiled, and carried on thinking what water can do when no hospital or doctor is able to do anything after years of efforts and medication.
It wasn’t until the Corona lockdown that everything slowed down — and I finally had time to think. No meetings, no travel, no business distractions. Just me, my health, and a growing fear that it is all going to be worsening. After couple of more conversion with him to understand if he had seen any similar results and digging on all my doubuts on call with him, I started digging. Late nights, endless articles, research papers, case studies — anything I could find on water, pH, inflammation, and gut health. And slowly, the dots began to connect.
I read how chronic acidity wasn’t just about food — it was about internal pH imbalance. How migraines were linked to dehydration and oxidative stress. How my current water was making my body more acidic over time. All those efforts bhargav was putting over call to make me understand about something called active hydrogen ionized water — alkaline, antioxidant-rich, micro-clustered — not a myth, but science-backed, used in clinics in Japan and Korea. Sounds like one of those “wellness” trends, right? But the more I read, the more it made sense. Especially for someone like me, drowning in acidity and fatigue.
So I thought, What do I have to lose?
- Not money — I’d already spent lot on medicines by then.
- Not time — I had plenty of that now.
- Just maybe… a chance to feel normal again.
I gave it a try. Switched to ionized water with active hydrogen. I Started with one glass in the morning on an empty stomach. Then two. Then made it a habit.
