Engineered for superior performance and durability, our Premium 20″” String-Wound Sediment Filter sets a new benchmark in pre-filtration. Weighing a substantial 250+ grams, this heavy-duty filter contains significantly more tightly wound polypropylene yarn than standard filters, delivering exceptional dirt and particle-holding capacity. The impressive weight is a clear indicator of its robust build and premium quality—designed to last longer and withstand even the most demanding water conditions.
Crafted using high-density polypropylene string-wound technology, this 5-micron depth filter features a graded density structure—coarser on the outside to capture large debris and progressively tighter toward the core to trap fine particles down to 5 microns. It effectively removes sand, silt, rust, and suspended solids, ensuring cleaner water and maximum protection for sensitive components.
Ideal for use in large capacity reverse osmosis (RO) systems, whole-house filtration, well water setups, and commercial applications, this 20″” filter fits all standard filter housings and serves as the first line of defense against clogging and damage.
Replace every 3–6 months for optimal performance, depending on water quality. Don’t compromise—choose the heaviest, densest, and most reliable string-wound sediment filter on the market. Stronger protection. Longer life. Cleaner water.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Flush the wound filter with clean water for 2–5 minutes before installation to remove loose fibers and manufacturing residues.
- Pre-soak dry wound filters (especially cellulose) for 10–15 minutes to reduce flow restriction and prevent fiber shedding in high-pressure systems.
- Ensure proper sequence in the filtration stages – Sediment Filter → CTO/GAC → Wound
- Replace every 6 months on average, or sooner based on water quality, flow reduction, or visible sediment load.
